Oklahoma Arrests works to keep its guidance accurate, but public-records systems don’t stand still — counties switch software, fees get updated, phone numbers change hands. If you’ve spotted something wrong, outdated, or just confusing, please let us know. A quick report from you could save the next person a wasted trip or a dead-end phone call.
What to report
Almost anything that looks off is worth flagging. Common issues we hear about include:
- A link to a county or state records portal that is broken or redirects somewhere unexpected
- A phone number, mailing address, or office hours that no longer match what the agency actually shows
- A fee or identification requirement that has changed since we last checked
- Information on our site that conflicts with what an official court or county page says
- A typo, unclear step, or instruction that left you more confused than when you started
To help us fix things quickly, include the web address of the page you were on, a short description of what looks wrong, and — if you have it — the correct information along with where you found it (for example, the official county clerk or court website). You don’t need to share your name or any personal details.
What we can fix — and what we can’t
We can fix anything that is wrong in our own guidance. A bad link, an outdated fee, a disconnected phone number, a step that no longer reflects how an agency actually works — all of that is fair game, and the form above is exactly the right tool.
What we cannot do is change, remove, seal, or hide an official arrest or court record. Oklahoma Arrests is an informational guide. We do not hold, host, or control any arrest, jail, or court records. Those records belong to the agencies and courts that created them, and only those bodies have the authority to alter or seal them.
If your goal is to have an Oklahoma record sealed or cleared, that process is called Expungement, and it runs through the courts — not through us. Our Oklahoma arrest records guide explains how that process works and where to begin. If we’ve gotten a detail about Expungement wrong in that guide, please do report it and we’ll correct our description.
How we handle your report
Every report you submit comes directly to the OK Arrests Editorial Team. We do our best to review each one. When we can confirm an issue against the official primary source — the agency’s own site, a court portal, or a published fee schedule — we apply the correction. Most confirmed fixes go live within 48 hours. Some take longer, particularly when we need to call or write to an agency to verify a detail before we’re confident enough to change it.
Either way, we’re genuinely grateful when readers take a moment to flag something. Accurate public-records information is only possible when people who notice a problem say something. Thank you for helping keep this resource useful.
